I am passionate about helping creative people build sustainable businesses. Some folks can create a business plan with the 10,000 little steps it takes to be successful and diligently tackle each task. If you are one of those people… just wow. I admire and worship you.
Then there are those of us who have drive and focus for doing our passions and glaze over like a Krispy Kreme at the mere mention of the word “plan.” Start listing out the steps of the plan and it’s back to bed for two more months.
I am here with a message of hope and a pretty high dose of humor. (You’ll need it!) You DO NOT have to make a dry, boring plan with nuts and bolts financial benchmarks and all that crap to be successful. I have created a successful business with one of the squirreliest brains I know. I made lots of mistakes. I cried in despair. I tried to do it the “right way.” In the end, only by applying my creativity and asking for a lot of help did I make this work.
I can help you do the same with a lot fewer mistakes and less crying… unless crying is part of your creative process. If so, you’ll want to keep that in your repertoire.
