A professional geek since the early 70′s, John spent most of his career designing software for mapping the ocean floor. Around the turn of the century he switch careers and became a filmmaker, documenting what’s in our Northwest waters. His underwater films have been on community, broadcast, and cable TV, PBS and in national film festivals.
