Background
The pioneering coworking space OfficeXpats has a new home. The owners and founders Jason Omens and Leslie Schneider are pleased to announce the purchase of the building at 350 Madison Avenue N (directly across the street from the Pavilion), which is now fully occupied by OfficeXpats. This marks a new chapter for the Bainbridge coworking community, already 14+ years strong.
Set back in the trees on Madison Ave., the spacious facility has 4,200 square feet on two floors. Some of the features include: a second-floor boardroom with access to a large south-facing deck, nine private offices, most with floor-to-ceiling openable windows, two kitchenettes, a shower in one of three bathrooms, covered bicycle parking, and ample vehicle parking.
“Acquiring this property allows us to re-invent our culture of collaboration and innovation in a beautiful new space, with stability for our future,” said Schneider, one of the founding partners. “We look forward to winning over and getting to know even more WFH islanders who discover this productive hub of friendly independent professionals.”
Stop by to see our new digs. Tours, either drop-in or scheduled, are 9am-5pm on weekdays, or by appointment with Leslie or Jason for evenings or weekends.
Are any private offices available?
Yes! Currently we have one large office left in the front by reception, and one large office further back opening onto the open coworking area. Both are $1350/month. Two smaller offices are around the corner, one with a window is $850, and one without a window is $750. For a growing company we soon will have a 4+ person upstairs office with natural light on three sides (transom windows and sliding door access to the deck). We expect it will be available by early summer.
Call Leslie at 206-355-9636 or Jason at 206-856-3629 to schedule a tour, get your questions answered, or to reserve an office.
When did OfficeXpats move in?
We moved on May 1st, 2026. Moving is hard. Moving in is hard too! But so worth it.
What is the current state of any tenant improvements?
The building is really awesome as is. That said, we constructed two new phone booth rooms (waiting on doors as of 5/13) and reconfigured the space to be more open. I’m sure we will be tweaking for a long time to come.
What can we expect to love about the new space?
Towering native trees surround the modern architecture, and beautifully sculpted ornamental trees are featured just outside many of the floor-to-ceiling windows. And yes, windows that open to fresh outside air. As part of the landscaping are blueberries and strawberries to pick in the right season. Inside are skylights, tons of built-in storage, and maybe some secrets in the basement. If you can find it. A long, lovely second floor deck hints at great gatherings to come.
And, this new building is across the street from the Pavilion, home to OfficeXpats for 14 years. No need to alter a commute (unless you now want to bike here). Same great places to buy a lunch.
What are some new features to be offered to members?
Long time requests such as covered bicycle parking and a shower are already in place. We have USPS mailboxes accessible outdoors and by key for those who use that service. We plan to create one of the work areas as a space without traditional desks—part lounge, part collaboration area, with an espresso machine nearby.
